rack attachment
Andy had asked how the rack was attached to the Pinz. There are 4 feet with 4 bolts in each foot. Andre suggested using a 90 degree bend drill but that wasn't practical so I found extra long drill bits at Home Depot and just drill these 16 holes through the deck of the rack.

For the ladder, I used some of the large diameter sheet metal screws that Andre supplied and mounted my back up light with the same hardware as shown.

With the addition of some non skid tape for the ladder, it was ready to go.

I guess they didn't transfer. Let's try it again. I did drill holes in the canvas Andy. If I get any leaks, I'll seal them up but thus far, there haven't been any.

Here's a shot (here's hoping) of the bottom of the ladder.

Nice tire and fuel can holder
How much did the fuel and tire holder run?
Just because you can do something does not mean you should.

for those of you with roof racks. How has it affected your offroading? With the pinz being more top heavy with the rack are you noticing a difference? I am still learning about what my trucks can do and am always amazed by them. Just curious about how much of a difference have you noticed.

top heavy?
I've not really noticed any difference with that weight up there. I suspect it might be an issue in some sor t of extreme rock crawling situation but I haven't been in that setting yet.
By the way, the initial photo posting somehow "went away" so here they are again.

If anyone needs to see additional details, just PM me and I'll send those on.

It does add some weight as does the HiLift jack which is mounted to the underside of the rear rollbar.
I don't know that's it's ever going to be worth a $hit in an autocross but one can always hope!

Have you thought about mounting additional lights up there yet? Forward, back, side. Looks like you have some great locations for it and you could run the wiring inside the tubing and up from the penetrations you already made through the top.
If you didn't get stuck, you didn't try hard enough.

lights
I'm working on that.
There are two mounting tabs up front and two in the rear of the rack.
