Gents,
For the tire-pressure, the official booklet that comes with the Pinz, says 1.7 Atm = 25 psi, but my tires definately look too deflated. Unfortunatly I cannot show a picture, but others think so too.
The tire (Semperit) says 51 psi max.
A notion was made that, maybe the Austrian Army always drive around with deflated tires to enhance grip in the 'wild' , even though that ruins the tires when driving on roads....
What pressure do you guys use in general when driving on the roads ??
Thanks for any answers
Tire Pressure 25 psi max ?
Tire Pressure 25 psi max ?

Go with what is stamped into the tire. Remember the pressure is for max weight, and you'll need to lower your pressure accordingly. The weight range is different for different "rated" tires

Depending on the sidewall rating, you could go down even further, but you would be safe at 35psi with an unladen Pinz. What is the tire you're using? Size and load rating at 51 psi.

Dave,
It is a German built tire: Semperit. Installed on all Austrian Pinzes since 1995, during the big overhaul and still driving there now.
Max load 1000 kg / 2205 lbs and max int. l. press = 51 psi.
Tubeless Radial - 235 x 85 R16
It has 6 plies and 2 plies on the sidewall...
My 710M ways a little beyond 2200 kg with all the extras, so 550 kg / tire
I would like to know what the best operating pressure would be for driving on the road, where usually higher pressures apply then when driving in the bush-bush, where you need more grip...
Thanks for your replies.
