Upgrading TGB 11 lights
Howdy all, I'm new to the forum. I have 75 TGB 11 which I am currently sanding and repainting, I will be posting before and after photos soon enough. When I removed the front indicator lights ( above headlights ), the housing was rusted out and I am faced with replacing the Hella units ( K232735 ). I am hoping to upgrade to LEDs, and am hopeful for any input y'all might have to offer...thanks----Erik

I would try to find stock units. Using something else usually messes with the look and will kill resale value because you will likely have to cut metal and the next person wont want them regardless. They are very hard to find but do exist. Maybe Claes has some. ?
Also, using LED's may require modifying the blinker relay unless they are made for retrofitting.

Yeah I wish Hella made some LEDs for the front that would match up in some way. I was lucky and got new front signals while in Sweden. I used to have a few extra but sold them long ago.

The originals are still on stock. You can buy new ones and put a H4 lamp in it.
Then you have 50/66watt but a lot more light than the round original ones.

We are talking about the amber signal/turning housings, not the headlight.
