Saw this at a local VW car show.
I caught the owner as the show let out. He said it was imported from Germany and was used as a utility truck there. The guy he got it from did a Ford Focus engine conversion. It has lockers front and rear. The oil-pan and muffler hanging down was the only major drawback that was obvious. The center ground clearance seemed very respectable!
