Just wondering if anyone has has this issue before, or if I am missing something? :?:
I have removed my rear door and the top hoop for the canvas. Right side panel came off, but the electrical wires for the number plate lamp are stopping me from removing the left panel that the top hinge fixes to.
The panel is behind part 31 in this pic :
I know I can cut the wire and add a molex (or whatever) connector later, but is there a no cut solution?

Re: Removing Rear Panel
you should be able to discooect the cables at the lamps; there are 6.3 mm flat connectors

Thanks Albert.
Will have another look.
In my defense all my work is done at night outside my house with a LED work lamp.

Re: Removing Rear Panel
I know the feeling, I find using a small headlamp very helpful...
Re: Removing Rear Panel
So I had another go at it, trying to find some spade terminals. Pulled the light housing apart with a screw driver, to get the rubber seals out.
Found this :
Just to prove all Pinzes are not created equal, I have a screw connection with single wire.
Guess it must earth to chassis.
Anyway, job done - time for more sanding and painting
