royal purple or amsoil oil filters

Post by ziegler »

Will either of these two oil filters fit on the pinz (1974). I've always used a Wix but when you cut into these filters, you can really see a difference in the quality of the two. Thank you.

Don't know about Amsoil, but I go here for interchangeable parts, a source to trust.

The other place to look is what Scott sells, he's a stickler for quality, Mahle OC54.
To me Mahle and Mann are one of the same. Mann W940-29 is my pick. The thing
to note about Oil filters is not only the capacity, flow and filter element but also
the check valve and Bar rating of the bypass valve.

NAPA 1768 has been my choice for over 10 years. It is made by WIX.
