It is the middle of the nine indicators on the dash. I've never seen it light up but I believe it is blue. The symbol looks like a PTO. The betriebsanleitung calls it a "blinker indicating light for trailer operation" and says it is green. The color wiring diagram that's been posted in several places calls it an "auxiliary drive indicator".
I'm asking because I'm looking to free up positions for my own use (one for DOT compliant driving lights and one for off-road lights).

What is the purpose of the center lamp on the dash?

Opened up the dash and was able to tell that this light is green not blue. Still no idea what it is for.

We are talking about a green light here.
In Europe is is mandatory to monitor the indicator on a trailer is working.
The relais has in fact to exit contacts, which are usually connected. CO and 49 are joined.
If you split that connection and connect CO to the available lamp it flashes only when more current is drawn and thus the trailer indicator is active.
Obviously it does not work with LED based taillights ...
Some Pinzgauers have additional control lights in the panel, like
for a rotating yellow alarm light, or aux heater, or PTO drive; use them for your needs.

Alright, I'll be the one to ask.
Are those replacement lenses for the dash indicator in question, and where can they be purchased?

SAV usually carries some of them. Worth a call anyway.

Re: What is the purpose of the center lamp on the dash?
The symbol on mine looks like a splined shaft with rotation arrows which is why I mentioned it reminded me of a PTO. Clearly I can use it for something else.
My leftmost lamp has that rotating beacon symbol but it mostly opaque white with that the symbol being transparent--not amber It is on when the pull switch for the powerlet outlet is on. The rightmost has a blank opaque cover (I do not have a cabin Eberspächer--just two in the ambulance box).
