More the rear panel. This was built by Andre and gives me the best of the M and K (IMHO). This panel is heavy duty (which you know if you've seen Andre's work) and allows use of the type K rear door upper with window. So no more crawling under the canvas and the rear passengers can let themselves in and out! The glass rear window really improves rearward vision too. The design also allows the side canvas to be rolled up to give that "wind in your hair" feeling. The rear panel (and rear door upper) are also removable if you want the true type M (but I don't know why you'd want to). Here is what that looks like:





Why am I selling? I drove it 3000 miles in 2 weeks in 2014. Since then, I have driven it 300 miles in 2 years. Time for someone else to enjoy the ride!

Looks like a great deal - Good price when you consider it has a 2.7 liter engine and the SSI - also the rear door arrangement looks really well done.

Yes, the engine upgrades make this a really usable truck. I won't recommend doing it on a daily basis, but on our return trip from Reno, we spent time on I-40. Keeping up with traffic at 65mph was easily possible in this truck. Again, not recommended to do this as the brakes and safety systems (ha!) aren't really designed with that in mind, but the engine was willing!

Andre does great work. Due to the distance between us, he fabbed this using his truck as the template. He shipped the piece to me already powder-coated (yes, that's not paint) and it fit up relatively easy. It makes a huge improvement to the usefulness of the truck.

True, but note you would need to remove the two currently installed storage boxes to allow fitment of another pair of benches. Very doable though, and the mounting points are present.
