Thank you for posting this. My front right portal is getting super hot. I thought the brakes were dragging but after backing off the tension the hub still gets hot. Real hot. Thanks again!

These modified exploded parts diagrams are Brandon's hard work and greatly appreciated! The more parts that can be cross-referenced, the better. Makes life easier when it comes to finding parts quickly and from a variety of sources.

Front Portal would be the same with exception of the portion of the axle where the CV joint resides. Anything bearing, seal or gear related within the housing itself is the same between front and back although the housing is shaped differently on the front to accommodate steering linkages, etc. Similarities also end when it comes to the braking components between front and rear.

No problem at all Jim. I do have a front portal reference somewhere but I cannot find the file. I know that I posted it in the FB group though. I guess I should also clarify that placement of the oil fill plug is different also on the front but if we are talking about inner and outer wheel bearings, the BK4520 needle cup bearing that gets knocked into the top of the housing then yes no difference at all.

Thank you for the clarification. I was able to find and order all of the bearings. My Guy here in Prescott worked his magic and rebuilt both front portals. The bearings all fit perfectly. THANK YOU AGAIN!
