How are you doing in Georgia Cliffiko?

Post by McCall Pinz »

Any word from our fellow pinzers in Georgia (the country)? Hopefully the fighting is far away and you and your Pinzes weren't pulled into it.

Georgia - the country - Pinz story

Post by cliffiko »

Sorry I did not reply re life in Georgia - the country - has been hectic but the three Pinz's are OK - we did not venture out for a few weeks as you can well understand. After things calmed down, I still stayed out of the mountains for a while as there were stories of unexploded bombs, but I never did see one - thank goodness. The shepherds and mountain men have assured me that all is ok in the area I frequent so I began to "play" again in fall. Have come across Georgian troops in the mountains and a few interesting stories which I shall not post for security reasons.

Right now trying to figure out why the Pinz has lost power - cannot drive down the highway in top gear and am having to gear down more than usual. Starts fine, idles fine, uses little oil, changed plugs and fuel filter - so now to deeper digging. Any ideas?

Tomorrow is "Old New Year" in Georgia and wishing that 2009 will be a peaceful and kinder year.

Cheers from Tbilisi!

And two photos - one quad seems to be just the right weight.
