On Board Air
On Board Air
What are you guys doing for a OBA setup? I've seen the 24v HMMWV setups that was apparently the hot ticket a couple years ago but now those compressors are hard to find. Anyone have an extra? I'd like to get some kind of OBA setup before my next trip over Thanksgiving weekend but I'm of the thinking that a 12v setup isn't taking full advantage of the vehicle and a engine driven setup might be a little hard to finish. I've always ran a York engine driven setup on Jeeps but don't know how to drive the compressor on a Pinz.
I put OBA on my 712 by the time I picked up my 710 I learned that having it mounted was not the best option for me. I have since picked up a 24v Via Air compressor that I can take with any of my military vehicles and not have a bunch of compressors floating around in different trucks. Also helps when heading out to recover some one elses truck who may not have air.

What Viair compressor did you end up getting? I'm about to purchase the Viair 45058.
right up till you run out of co2 In a larger group it is a great resource to have a co2 tank around to reset beads and get a jump start on filling tires, not a big fan of them in a stand alone scenario.Have you considered a CO2 tank? I find that this works great and can work in 12v and 24v vehicles just the same
