I thought I had my haflinger sold to a man named jim gillespie. We talked and negotiated at great length and he was to send money and I was to ship it to him. No money ever came and nothing but excuses for how the bank messed up or something. My red flags went up and I googled his name and found out that he is a habitual time waster and scam artist. So my advice is if you get any sort of message from him that he will not send you any money And he will only waste your time.

Re: Scammer
So there is no scam technically, just some time wasted? Consider that a lucky scenario.

Re: Scammer
He tries to make you very comfortable with the deal And tries to get you to ship it without payment after a week of stories of why the wire transfer has not gone through. He sounds very trustworthy and friendly. I would never in 1 million years ship anything without it being paid for but I just want everyone else to know about his time wasting and unbecoming attributes. In doing further research on this gentleman… I find out he is a registered sex offender for abuse to a child in 2006. As well as countless lawsuits. Just a gem of a man.

Thanks Ed,
I preferred to think it was the "white van" effect, coupled with the aggressive stance of the Pinz, ....not the fact that they could see WHO was driving!.
