Yes, they're pretty big.

IIRC, the A2 version was designed to tow behind a HMMWV (or Humvee), which is about the same weight as a 712 but is wider and has more than twice the hp.

I'm curious how well the Pinz handles the load.

The M101A2 was setup to be pulled by the military Chevy Blazer or the pickup. The A2 uses the same 16" wheels as the trucks, The M101A3 is the same trailer but the axles take the 16.5" Hummer wheels and tires. The M1102 is an aluminum bodied wider trailer setup just for the Hummer. The M101A3 was just a stop gap fix until the M1102 came along. The M101A2 is just about the same width and height as the Pinz and comes in empty at 1340 Lbs. I don't plan on loading up the trailer at all but was more looking for a trailer that would closely match the physical size of the Pinz.

Yes, sorry Mark. My mistake totally. I mixed up the A2 and A3 version.

Finished up the mod to the trailer lunette and replaced the master cylinder cap with a low profile cap. I will see this weekend how it all mates up with the Pinz and its rear door.



I can now make the trailer level with pulling it with my pickup

You will love your trailer. I use mine to carry kayaks, mountain bikes, and camping gear. I never put a lot of weight in it. It pulls great, but on hills you can tell it is back there.

Super Swampers...10.5x34x16 TSL. They look nice, but replacing with BFG KM2's this winter, in a comparable size. Swampers are a little on the noisy side.

Nice setup! Can't really see in the pic but with the trailer hooked up can you open the rear door? It looks like you have a reciever hitch on the Pinz yes? How did you paint the trailer? The trailer looks like it is in fine shape. Did you keep the trailers 12pin NATO plug?

Hey Mark. I can open the door about half way with the pintle hitch on. It is enough for me to get through, but just barely. I do have a receiver hitch on. As far as the lights on the trailer, I changed them to 12 volt to be able to easier use with other vehicles; then bought the converter to hook up to the Pinz. For economies sake, I just went with the flat four connector (again, just makes it easier for the vehicles that I have). I just painted it with a spray gun. As for the tires, mine do not rub at all when turning.
