Persistent hub seal leak

I have had this truck and done all four wheels at least once. But the right front keeps going out even though I am using the same techniques I have used with the others. I am using an SKF 23436 (60x78x9) seal and have the larger wear ring.

Tonight I finished the latest attempt at repair. I had my knee replaced seven weeks ago so, for now, what would have been a one night job took four. And that little slow trickle coming from the weep hole after a three mile test drive is not what I wanted to see.

Did you replace the O-ring seal under the wear ring? It is possible that the leak is through there and not through the rotational seal.

Yes, I did replace the o ring. But I also used Great Stuff there because the wear ring was so loose you could pull it off with two fingers.
One thing I did notice is that When pressing the hub and wear ring back there is a point where the hub spins freely and a point a hair further in where there is a touch of drag. My presumption is the drag comes as the outer flange of the wear ring comes in contact with the seal. I left it with the touch of drag.
Also the trickle stopped after a very small amount came down. Maybe it's from the gear oil I used to lube the seal when I pressed the hub back in?
I will take it for another run and see if I get more run off.

Well, I took the truck for a 30 minute run tonight and I have no leak now. The trickle I saw must have been from either remnants of the oil I put on to lube the seal or maybe it was getting set/worn in a bit. Jim, that's for sharing a suggestion. Now, to bleed the brakes....
