Add Mop N Glo to the wash kit

Post by PinzEOD »

A guy I work with touted Mop N Glo as a good cleaner/protector for the top and tires on my Pinz. I haven't done the tires yet, but a 'test patch' on the canvas shows great promise. I finally got around to putting on the new front top I bought from SAV and it sure makes the rear top look old. The rear is in pretty darn good shape, just old and dry. The Mop N Glo cleans well, leaves a bit of a shine, and stays pliable. Time will tell. Anyone else tried this?

lemon pledge

Post by krick3tt »

I use Spray 'n Wash too. Really cleans off the gunk better than GUNK and smells better.
I tried lemon pledge for the windows, gets the old windows about 50% better, I can now see through them.
I will try the Mop 'n Glo for the top, can't seem to get the 303 protectant at my local NAPA shop, they have never heard of it.

Thanks for the tips.

Yeah the Pledge is an old Jeepers trick for the soft top windows. Works pretty good and leaves anice lemony smell.

Our ACE Hardware carries the 303, not sure if they all do. I was pretty surprised to find it there.
