I have ordered from these guys before but not the water cans.
I got my water can from the same place as Dave Dunn and I really like the metal can. Not any problems with rust or bad taste.
Cheers,
Morris

Received my 3 "cans" yesterday and leak tested them and they seem to do just fine. They appear well constructed. Dimensions are slightly different than my metal can, but was able to finesse it into its carrier. So far so good.

G'Day Miles,
The Jerry can "covers" arrived today.... the ones I brought off the place you recommended.
BRILLIANT ! ..... Love em!..... Thanks for your help with the purchase.
It took "almost" 3 months for the things to get here and I was getting a bit worried, but that's Postal Services for you (both Australian and US

)

Wow.....It only takes 3-4 weeks for me to get my parts from Europe. Glad you did finally get them though, must have gone by boat with a docking in Hawaii and every other small island on the way.

At least the price was right and if I remember the shipping was reasonable. I was able to find a few more for other members but the supply seems to have dried up for now, at least untill the next military auctions. Hope you enjoy them, Did they appear to be NOS, Clean inside with a little storage dirt outside?

Same here, I can have stuff landed from Europe and the UK in about 10 days, but "heavier" shipping from the US is always a problem ... I don't know why!
I was expecting up to 2 months for shipping but 3.... Hmmm

....Still they are here now.

They have probably seen more of the world than I have, or more likely they have been sitting in a Postal / Customs Storage wharehouse in the US or Australia.

Sure look like new stock to me ... they are in perfect condition except for a few storage marks as you say!
Interestingly, they have a date-stamp inside the top cover ... July 1989.
They really look the part inside the back of the Pinny.
