Wow,

Well I have held off on this one for a while and now I'll hop in, first I am very glad you arrived safe and had no misshaps, now on to the subject at hand, Michael and Jim were right to not offer any assistance in the hook up, let's cover my experiance with this subject, I used to sell RV's, trailers, toy haulers etc, and I also for a while did what is called a walk thru and hook up class for all the new owners of our products, we had one guy who swore he could pull a 16,000 lb 5th wheel with a 3/4 ton truck because the salesman said it could, we told him he would need a 1 ton or greater, well after a short test pull around the block he took the new truck back and traded up for a 1 toner.

Now on to this mog pull, first off the chp officers who passed and paid you no mind were did not have a "PUC" endorsement and since you were traveling at a slow rate of speed they opted to not wait around all day for a "PUC" officer to come out, but if any had you would surley have been cited and not allowed to travel any further, I did a quick look at the chrysler web site and found that your car has a curb weight of 3725 lbs and a max tow rating of 1000lbs (max when properly equiped).

again not bagging on you, but that tow was not safe or legal in Ca, as others have posted the mog should have been pulling the chrysler....

enjoy your mog and be safe.
