No! It is not efficient at all. Only positive is the size 7" 1/2 tall.

I looked at some of the unit's where the compressor is dc. but could never figure out were to mount the condenser.
If someone ever mounts one and post pic's I'll go that path.

DC power solutions and DCAIRCO make rooftop units that are just like ours Erik - but $3500 to $4500!!!!
Man you got a good price on your unit! I paid close to $900 shipped a year or so ago for mine!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is an old thread but did you ever finish the ac mount? Curious how well it works.
