Not to incite a riot here but how about one of the new 4 door Jeep Rubicons (or whatever the model designation is these days)?
Well proven, plenty of after-market accessories to upgrade for any likely turn of events on your trip and I suspect sufficient dealer support certainly from Alaska to the Mexican border and perhaps beyond?

My .02, if a pinz is what you want and have the cash, get it. For the trip you have planned I would think a nice 710M pinz on a trailer behind a more modern motor home would be the ticket. Use the motor home as base camp and the pinz for exploring. All the comforts, none of the worries.
