Well, WISCONSIN pinzgauer owners can't get there from here.

I'm glad to hear some of you guys are still able to be out having fun.

Since August Mexico has had tons of rain. The main water shed for the Rio Grande River below El Paso is in Mexico and their reservoirs have filled up so they are releasing water. Lake Amistad which was probably close to 16-18 feet low in July is not full and they are releasing water from Amistad Dam at the rate of 500 cubic feet per second. Which in turn is causing relatively minor flooding below Del Rio. Here are some pics of what the Rio Grande River in and around Big Bend looked like recently.

Wow, I've been going out there for decades Andy and I've never seen anything like that! I hope there's not too much destruction associated with that volume of water.

No telling where the "new" river channel will be. According to the Park's daily report the entire river road is closed and you can't get to Rio Grande Village. At least it looks like the river is starting to drop a little.
