Sale fell through so it's back on eBay again: http://www.ebay.com/itm/322155343448?ss ... 1558.l2649

I have the reserve set at a bit less than what I have into it. If anyone's interested give me a shout.
Thanks!

You should mention the barn doors - rare and sought after option!

That really has no bearing on the condition of the truck and has already been discussed in this thread

Paul, I have a few cheap suggestions. These may or may not help, but I just wanted to throw out this stuff since they stick out to me personally, being a G owner/fan for many years (as you know) and someone who's monitored/shopped 100's of G ads over time.

I'd consider painting/stripping or replacing the trim pieces to return it closer to the factory look, which most buyers feel more comfortable with. The bumpers, headlight surrounds and plastic bumper-caps/air-foil piece behind the front bumper should all be black. The grill should be black too but sometimes it looks nice to match it to the body. The way it looks now screams "cheap repaint" to the Mercedes guys, simply because things that are painted shouldn't be.

I'd advertise the low mileage more in your ads; I think that is a huge selling point! Listing the KM's alone doesn't compute in the mind of many would-be US buyers; some might even think KM-to-miles = a higher number!

The 5 speed can be a big deal too. If it's an overdrive 5th, that is a massive selling point to those in the know, or to those who research.

I'd replace the valve cover gasket just to get that small leak off your problem list. It's extremely easy to do on this engine. I just did this when I did my valve adjustments and it took no time.

The only other thing, and this isn't exactly cheap, but if you happen to have some laying around or see a used set somewhere, I'd put a more decent size tire on there. A 235/85 is ideal. It might be a lot more appealing looking that way.

I hope it moves for you soon!
