Follow the Money!!!!!
It's simple approach to unraveling many of the mysteries that come via "scientific fact". I personally have no problem with accepting "facts" that hold up to scientific scrutiny, but even those highly esteemed climitologist will, if pressed, state that the current global warming trend is highly complex and not as easily examined as some other phenomenon.
There is still too much uncertainty even within the scientific community (excluding those who have a political agenda) for a lay person to be able to make an educated analysis of the "facts".
Currently I am highly suspect of the alarmists and those who have so gullibly bought into their hyperboly, that I tend to apply that axiom as stated above. Who stands to reap a financial windfall if they can convince the public at large that only they , Global Warming supporters, have ascertained the true problem and are our salvation for the solution? And just look at the spin off "cottage industries" from such an acceptance. When billions of $$$ are involved, I tend to smell "agenda".
