I understand the vectors were a flop mostly due to the weight. Can the armor be easily removed to get the weight down? Are they good for parts for a 718?

I'd bet it would be hard to remove from what I've seen on other trucks but you never know.

The Vectors are only a Pinzgauer chassis/drivetrain. The bodies are a totally unique structure for them and almost everything is custom. According to a BAE employee, the panels can be removed but the backbone structure underneath is supposedly to be fairly flimsy without the panels. Another problem would be they are too new to be imported into the US, being manufactured from roughly 2005 to 2009, being approximately 182 made and were the last Pinzes made in the UK.
Also the last few years, all the Vectors that were sold off have been bought back by dealers and had been refitted and have gone to the Ukraine
