I have a crack in my engine cover. Is there something I can use to fix it?

It was close to 10 years ago so I don't remember the exact product but it was from West Marine and was used for repairing boats. It worked very well and held up. I think it was a 2-part fiberglass resin.

Hmm. West sells System 3 Epoxy, West System Epoxy, and polyester resin. The epoxies usually come with squirt pumps. The polyester usually has hardener in a tube. Polyester usually takes just a few drops of hardener. Epoxy’s are usually 3:1or 5:1. Any of that ring a bell? Did you use fiberglass cloth too?

The polyester sounds familiar but it was a while ago. I did not use any fiberglass cloth.
