My blower motor isn’t working. I looked for a plug to separate for voltage testing, but I couldn’t see it easily. It’s probably buried under the dash and my hands are pretty big. My questions are:

Where should the plug be? (How long is the motor lead?)

Where is the ground connection? ( the most likely fault?)

The original owner added some electrical stuff such that the wiper motor stopped working. When I removed it, the wiper motor works. I’m hoping that it’s as simple.

Ok. It turns out the blower motor doesn’t have a plug. It has a yellow wire that goes to ground and it has a green wire that goes over to the switch in the dash. The switch is in parallel with the wiper switch. The two wires on the switch made me think that the blower motor was connected and that the mystery green wire hanging was going to be another problem for later. With a flashlight (and more bending and twisting than a fat 53 year old should have to do) I found an empty terminal on the switch. Success! The blower motor works.
It turns out the wire doesn’t have a lot of slack. So when I pulled the dash out, it must have been pulled off of the terminal. Hope this helps someone else.
