Tailgate sag

Hello

I’ve noticed that my tailgate sags a bit, but I don’t really see any adjustment on the hinges. Has anyone dealt with this?

It's been 22 years since I had a gas pinz, but look on the door half of the hinge, there may be an adjustment there. That's where it is on the front doors.
Also, you may take the door open it a couple inches and lift up and down on the lock end of the door and see if the door rocks. You could have worn hinge pins and hinge bushings.

The screws on the body side of the hinge were very difficult to remove. Part of the problem was they wouldn’t thread all the way in. I don’t have a tap that big so I cut some edges into a bolt and cleared the threads. This locked that end of the hinge down. An improvement for sure.
The hinges are a bit loose though. I can’t seem to find anything about hinge bushings and I didn’t see any kind of adjustment. Maybe I missed it.
The project continues

The adjustments would be on the door side, not the body side.
