Blower motor removal

Has anyone removed the motor and cage fan? It looks like 2 wires and 4 bolts should do it, but the passenger side heater diverter is right above the motor. Does it need to be moved? Otherwise, this job might be pushed back. The motor makes an awful noise, but I don’t really need it in Southern California.

Ok. So the heater manifold above the blower motor is definitely in the way. There are 4 small bolts holding the manifold in place, but they’re hard to get to and thread into nuts that would be almost impossible to hold while turning the small bolts that are hard to get to.
The alternative is to remove the entire blower housing. The bolts on the exposed side are easy to get to and the one on the opposite side would be doable. This is probably the approach I take.
Upon close inspection, I noticed a screw missing from the end of the motor. I put one in and tested. The motor turned much faster and was quieter.
I will leave well enough alone for now.
