Because of ongoing health problems, I have reluctantly decided to sell my extremely rare ATL/SS 718K with the VW 2.5TDI and LHD.
I purchased and receive this Pinz in January of 2014 from BAE , Sealy Texas w/ 264 miles when I received it.

This truck was sold to me as an unknown MY, but believed to be a 2001 { by BAE Sealy). Years later I found out it was made in Sept of 2005.
ATL/SS/BAE only made a total 7 718 in LHD and w/ 2.5TDI in the UK ( all from 2005 & 1 in 2006), This 718K is 1 of only 3 K's made, the other 4 are Ms. This info was supplied to me by the 'first' ATL employee (1994 -2009)

Equipment fitted from the factory : FFR ( fitted for radio,. basically house batteries, charged by the 100amp alternator) Cyclone air filter
Items fitted by me : 7 BFG AT (285-75) because of age. current tires at less than 300 miles. TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system} at time of new tires. GPS with wireless back'-up camera. 24v roof top 6k BTU a/c.
Basic specs are: 718K 2.5TDI. 4 spd auto trans, LHD ,P/S. 6 wheel disc brakes, 2350 miles

This is probably the ultimate 4x4 (6x6) on earth to own. The rarity is way beyond what most understand and being into exotic 4x4's since the 90's, I've never seen anything like this come up for sale. A once and a lifetime situation. I've been around this Pinz a few times and it's the only one on earth that still has a trace of that "new car" smell!
If I hit the lotto, it's mine!

Yup and to add to this, not only is this a rare 2'nd gen Pinz but Dave took METICULOUS
care of this rig. An event Princess only on paved roads only.

Incredible Pinzgauer, is this one plated in California?

The Pinz is titled, registered and insured in Arizona. Cal DMV didn't want anything to do with it. And I expected it. But I didn't care because I had an idea of the rarity of this (and not to the extent to what I learned later). This 718K was ordered by Stewart/Stevenson as their North American demonstrator. The reason for the low mileage when offered to me was that Stewart/Stevenson military vehicles (which included Pinzgauer) was shortly after bought by Armor Holdings, which in turn was bought by BAE. which in the following year announced the discontinuation of the manufacture of new vehicles when the existing contracts were filled. The total production on Pinzgauers made in the UK from 2000 to 2009 was 1210 units, including 181 armored (Vectors). Other than the first 70+/- were built with the 6 cyl, the rest have the 2.5TDI and 4 spd auto trans.

And yes Ron, it is a road/event princess, With having had a 710M, 712M and a 716K I did wheel. I've no reason to take it off road to prove anything

No, it's still for sale. I've been the dealing with several other issues for the last 8 weeks And the sale is low on my priority list right now.
I have been in discussions with a gentleman in Europe that has wanted this Pinzgauer for many many years . You'd be surprised, on all the tariffs fees and taxes to send this truck to Europe .
Also I had a friend who took a bunch of new pictures of the Pinz with the iPhone, that I found out are not compatible with JPEGs or this website, hence another issue for me to handle later.

Those photos are probably in the default HEIC format. They can be easily converted to jpeg. The method varies depending on if you are using macOS or Windows.
