No Spark

Any help on this would be greatly apreciated, My 712 has no spark. I have power at the coil and even to the cap. I have replaced the points twice now with no avail. When I pull the plugs they are damp with gas so I am assuming that it is getting fuel. It just cranks and cranks with not even a sputter. The reason I know there isn't a spark is I have pulled the coil wire and a spark plug wire with plug and touched it to metel with nothing. Is there something inline that I coudl be missing?

Excuse my ignorance but what "condenser" are you refering to?
Im just confused because I have 24V at the coil but no spark......

The condenser is the small can with the green wire that is pressd into the bottom of the dist.
Try this first, remove the distributor signal wire from the coil(-) and clean the contact surfaces and re-test for spark
I have found this work on at least 2 no spark conditions.
As for points, why are you not using Pertronix

:
You will get a smoother idle and less stumble with a Pertronix unit than with points.

I didn't communicate this very well - I do have a full Civi ignition kit installed and I have changed out the coil and ignitor now with new ones with no change....So everything is new. Still getting power but no spark...
Is the condenser the cylinder that is under the coil to the left and connects to the coil?

Was the rotor trimmed so it sit down all the way on the shaft and isn't pushing the carbon piece up into the cap?

The plot thickens!
If you put the Pos wire for the winch to the starter terminal, I would be looking for a wire with a ring that is not attached to the starter stud where it should be

One other place to look is where you attached the red wire for the Pertonix on the noise suppressor, I have had to scrape clean the area of attachment to get good contact
