Anyone...I'd like to upload all my pictures and files that are Pinz related for the community to share, any suggestions for a free upload share site that can take 700MB+. Be nice if it could be set up with folders.
Maybe a site where others could upload there stuff under a common directory.

Google Galleries with Picaso is a really nice setup for doing just that.
I'm not exactly sure what the storage capacity is, but Google is always adding space for users.
Check it out, it may be just the ticket you're looking for.
Good luck! (and keep us posted!)

Okay uploaded all the pictures so far, will try uploading files at yahoo at a later time.
http://picasaweb.google.com/pinzgauer.depository.1
Does not work with Opera web browser
I got all these pictures off of the web. So if anyone does not want a picture posted that is theirs, email me with the title and description and I will remove it. I keep all the pictures for ideas and to see what the original state of parts on the Pinz were as refrence. There may be some repetative views, but enjoy and hope they may inspire others.
Some are of my 712 restoration to date.

I don't mind you using some of my images, but you should also mention image source contributor names

Jim...Other than the EFI project which other pics would you like your name attached to?
Gave you your own folder, please double check and see if they are the right pictures.

You can add mine to the hubsteps pics you stole! I'll see you in court. I wonder what specific damages I've suffered now that everyone can see how to make $10 hubsteps! I was going to sell them for $10.50.
J/K Great idea!

Hey Miles,
Kudos on this new resource!
This is something that's been needed for quite some time. The yahoo groups photo gallery was okay, but too difficult to find what you're looking for.
This is super! Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
A lot of times people don't understand how much time is involved in organizing something like your gallery.
I'm sure I speak for many when I say "Nice job, & THANKS!!!"

Miles, excellent collection. I will bet a lot more will be forwarded over time. I know I certainly will attempt to take some for the resource you are posting up. Thanks much!

Thanks guys, I've been thinking about it since I started scowering the web for ideas for my 712 rebuild. I will try to respect everyones wishes in reguards to their photos/contributions. As time permites I will organize them better and add descriptions to the Pics, but I may not remember the what where and why I saved them. I will also add a Just Plain Cool folder for things not Pinz related that a Pinz owner may not be able to live without
As for request for new picture posts, title changes, author/photography credits, corrections (i'm barely human) or tags/descriptions requests by author. Please PM me so this thread doesn't get to long.
The real credit should go to the original posters of the pictures on their own websites. Since I only grabed the pictures I had use for there are still a lot of pictures and technical information left to explore on their sites, and I encourage everyone to explore them.

I'm glad some of my pics made it to the section on hub steps, thanks to Michael for including them.
So much good info there for all of us to see. Glad Arnold could make it for the photo op.
Cheers,
Morris
