Black Bear Pass in Telluride, Co. Is it possible in a 712?

Has anyone done it or heard of anyone that did? I bet if anyone DID do it with a 712, it would be a first! I've done it on tours many times with a 710M but then again the 710 was made for Black Bear! Myself, I have also driven it in a: Toyota short bed, Jeep Scrambler, Jeep Cherokee XJ, Chevy Blazer, and a Suzuki Sidekick. I have seen some full sized SUV's make all the switchbacks... and I've seen them get stuck too! A Hummer H1 would not make it.

So the challenge is out there. Does anyone want to be the first to do the infamous Black Bear in a 712? Is it even possible? Or has it already been done? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :D

Back in my FJ55 days I went up to Imogene pass followed by a full size blazer and a long wheel base extended cab F250 ( Had to pull them both up to the old marker at the top in a snow storm).
As long as you take your time it should fit.
I found the trails above Telluride to be quite fun, especially the place with the overhang, we had to clear some slide debris so the Blazer could fit through with the roof almost touching and the mirror scraping to keep most of the wheels "on" the trail
So Go for it, but take pic's for bragging rights

Wow. I like that picture of the old Wagoneer. I can't believe they made the first 3 switchbacks in those behemoths.
