Steel Soldiers 2008 Florida Rally

The dates for the Steel Soldiers Florida Rally will be in Febuary 21 - 24, 2008. This event was DOMINATED by Pinzgauers last year by a ratio of 3 to 1. I'm there! It was a lot of fun last time. Has this become the FL Treffen?!

Perhaps all the Wisconsin military vehicle owners should come down as they will need to move from that state anyway. FL loves military vehicles!

Mike has left me a message that this will not be called the FL Treffen. (I still want to try and out number them again this year) I would like to do another FL Treffen in the spring. Anyone else interested? We have not done one since 2006 in Ocala. I will be happy to start to set one up if we get some intrest shown.

Mike has now set up a way to reserve (pay for tickets) to the 2008 Florida Rally. Use this link http://www.odiron.com/store/product_inf ... cts_id=629 . Cost is $10 a head and that will help pay for everything. This was a great time last year and we expect to have more Pinzgauers this year. Get you tickets early so that Mike can plan on a head count.

We're down to hours until it begins! Should be well represented, quite a few Pinzes and at least one Unimog. Lots of US Iron I hear this year. If the Deuces don't show up in numbers it may need to be called the Florida Treffen!

You're already there, oh well... I'm getting my kiddo out of school early on Friday and driving up by 1:00PM. See you on Friday. Rick and others will be there tonight. Wish I could go now.
