vehicle registration

Hello all,
I am now a certified resident of Washington. Vehicle registration here is not as much of a problem as I had imagined, although I was required to have the pinz weighed. The scale weight is 4480 lbs without the tools and the spare tire and with 1/2 tank of gas. I have the EI front bumper and a Warn 9500 winch instead of the regulation front bumperettes so that adds pounds to the stock 710M.
Very nice people up here, the speeds on the surface roads are even in keeping with pinz speeds, mostly 35 to 55 mph.
I do miss the desert of southern CA and the pinz leaks at every point while it is raining, oh yeah, did I mention it rains in WA? I am adjusting.
I hope that all of my friends in southern CA can get some type of help dealing with the horror of the fires. It is helpful to get info from Michael in his posts and pictures. My sympathy goes out to Jim and his family's loss.
You are all in my thoughts.
Morris
