Photos will follow and are of the unpainted 1975 710K. As you can see, the paint is actually quite good. This is the one with the non-working heater. 36,634 km. on the odometer. Excellent door panels. No rust. New batteries. Rebuilt carburetors. We did install the Petronix Electronic Ignition with plug wire conversion kit. All new ignition parts including plugs. Removed fuel tank, cleaned, and applied tank lining product to prevent rust. Adjusted intake and exhaust valves to correct specs. All fluids changed, drivetrain with synthetic 75W90. New warm air tubes. Brake inspection shows shoes 50% or better on all four wheels. There was unfortunately a lot of time spent on trying to get the heater going but finally gave up because of safety reasons. Key works on all the doors.

I actually have quite a bit more in this truck than the painted one, as there was considerably more time spent on this one. This one has 8000 fewer km. on the odometer, the paint is almost as good, and has better door panels

So I told him I will TAKE HER :) :) :)

I will get the tires on her and then travel to Golden CO and get the heater done with Dennis and a few other things, but she's ago.

So how can I post some pics of her. :? :?

WHAT I DO IS PUT PICTURES ON PHOTO BUCKET THEN CLICK ON "IMAGE CODE" THAT WILL COPY IT, SHOULD SHOW LITTLE NOTE SAYING COPIED WHEN YOU DO THAT.
THEN IN BODY OF MESSAGE JUST PASTE IT ( CTRL + V ) THERE AND IT SHOULD SHOW
THEN REPEAT IT FOR EACH PICTURE.

JERBEAR- JUST THOUGHT IF SOMETHING.
BE SURE ALL YOUR IMPORTATION PAPERWORK IS COMPLETE THE CANADIAN CUSTOMS FREAKED OUT WHEN I BROUGHT MINE THROGH AND STATED I WAS GOING TO DROP IT OFF IN ALBERTA AT MY B-I-L'S AND THEN DRIVE DOWN LATER FROM ALASKA TO PICK IT UP.
IT WAS PAINTED CAMO AND BECAUSE IT WAS A "MILITARY VEHICLE" THEY HAD ISSUES....TOOK ABOUT 1 HR+ OF TALKING TO GET US THROUGH CUSTOMS.

So I did the Photobucket thang. How does someone see them now?

Jer Bear

Ditto on the paperwork stuff. He said he's sold lots of vehicles so it won't be a problem.

Thanks

Very nice looking Pinz! It's one that George Stauffer had for sale a while back. Did you buy it from him? I picked up my 710M from him and have been very happy with it.
Best of luck!

yipper that's where I got it. Bob was just real rluctant to sell the one he had so one guy at the Helwig Auto place that I was going to get the one form Bob looked at suggested I phone him and ask him if he had one.

Well he had 2 and I opted for this one - less mileage and quite a bit done to it already.

I will check the alternator conection out too thanks.

Jer Bear

P.S.

How di you put the photos on the forum. Need a play by play.

on your photobucket click on "image code" below picture ( 4th one down)
should show little yellow tab says copied. if not, highlight data code info then "copy"(ctrl + C) and go to this site , put cursor in box and "paste" (ctrl + V). that should do it.
