hazard flashers in utah?

i'm repairing my turn signal system right now in my new pinz that i just brought into utah. i'm having to really look ato the wiring and possibly use a 2-terminal solidstate flasher. i'm using us military tail lights, 4 of them. still not sure how i want to arrange the wiring. i see that hazards switch is just one more complication for my over heated brain. does anyone know if utah safety inspection ppl will want me to have hazards? maybe i can just say they didn't have any?
