Need some serious help here...

I know insurance for Pinzgauers is really not a 'new' topic but this question may be.

I am pricing insurance and getting full coverage instead of just liability and coverage for non-insured other driver is going to cost me over $400 more a year.
Am I digging myself into a hole labeled "Should have thought it out more" by just getting liability type coverage?

Morris,
FWIW, I was quoted over a grand for comp coverage on my 712 (IIRC, $1200/yr.). Needless to say, I only run liability coverage.

I just got a policy through Progressive online for $500/6 month. Comprehensive with max limits and a replacement value of $30K. (It would have been a little less if it weren't for a ticket and an accident on my record.) I've got too much into the pinz to just run liability.

Got a new quote from the insurance folks, seems they neglected to include all of the discounts we are eligible for. Makes a big difference, probably stick with them and get full coverage on the pinz, about $230 for 6 mo. Liability is only $85.

full coverage on the pinz, about $230 for 6 mo.
That's almost exactly what I pay for full coverage. Of course, it depends if you get $100 or $1000 deductable, etc.

In the past two years I have lived in three states, can't insure with one agent in one state and live in another. If that were the case I would have stayed with the great agent I had in San Diego. Just call him up and say I had a new Mog or pinz and he took care of it.
I have no tenure with anyone now and it gets confusing. I think I can live with this coverage now. It was suggested that I get the pinz appraised for a value and insure for that $$$ amount. May be less (or more) don't know yet. Maybe when the new engine is installed it might be worth it to get the appraisal.
