My right headlight suddenly went dim, works but very dim, even on high beam. Parking light works fine. Changing bulbs has no effect. Plug is reading 24vdc. Left works fine. Suggestions?
Thanks.

I would look for a bad ground.I think it will be the brown wire, either at the connector or at the body.

The wires going to the plug are yellow and white, the yellow being negative. So, you mean the yellow? I'm not an electrical guy, so bear with me.

You should have a yellow wire (+) which is low beam, a white (+) wire which is hi beam and a second (short) white wire (negative) which is the ground and should be fastened inside the headlight bucket behind the reflector.
Hope this helps,
Paul

Bad ground. All fixed. I should have checked it first. The Clack Bros. always say most electrical problems can be traced to a bad ground. Thanks for the help.
