I start my way back in the morning.
I have had a few failures on the way. Last Friday I left for Branson MO. On the way I drove across a low water bridge the water level was higher than I had thought my daughter opened her door when we crossed to see the water well it let water in destroying my converter!!! So I figured I would Just split the batteries to get my 12v needed for my fuel pump and efi controller. As I was told this is how someone else did it. Two days pass with no problems then after filling up with gas I try and start It wouldn't even turn over. After checking the batteries the first battery is dead to the bone! After I get a jump, I head to the marina to have my battery checked and charged. At which point they ask why not just put in a 24vdc pump? Man if it was only that easy. I posted to the forum from who I bought the my kit from. With a reply not going to work. I also emailed Alan asking for his input. He replied might work but try this @##$$. The next day I dropped my wife and kids off at Bransons landing and I went to an electrical shop looking for it. First shop told me to go to another electrical shop the second shop I showed up at. Told me I needed to go to an old radio repair shop and looked up one called to verify they had what I was looking for. They did. I went over to pick it up. Well, it was a piece of ceramic with two wires coming out of it. Are you sure this is it? I ask. Yep was the reply so I wired it to my fuel pump and connect my pump to 24v and I'm off. That was two day's ago and seems to be working fine.

Again Alan thanks I owe you one. I was just imagining I would be hugging areas that would be near a shop that could charge my first battery on this trip.

$15K? It's a good deal if you have an existing drivetrain.

That brake setup and wheels/ tires is probably worth well over $6-8K! Unfortunately, the rest of the parts that are worth the big dollars appear to have been stripped. My guess is that the big issue with re-drivetraining that particular truck is that it pretty much requires a built engine.

I'll be selling mine in the near future after I get the bumpers fixed, and it sure won't be selling for $15K! Of course, mine still has ALL of the high dollar equipment still on board with the exception of the outdoor speakers.

Ok if you say so. But I think it's going to take this to stop all the leaks?

Now I could only see it from across a very tall fence but it looks heavily rusted more than the pictures even show.

Ive seen some stupid mods and designs in my time but that porch-like bumper might take the cake. Can you store extra Redbull in it or something? Useless.

Or a "sounding bumper" for fording rivers? Wonder why we don't see more of those?

After seeing the brake kit. There is ether a problem with the rims they used, or the kit was not well designed! I expect it to cost the next owner locker parts.
