How many Pinzgauers in the US and Canada?

Does anyone have a rough idea of how many Pinzgauers have been imported to the US and Canada? I searched the forums for a similar thread but came up empty and I've been asked by curious people while out driving around. My general sense is something like 500 or fewer in the States. That's just a complete guess, though.
