Replacement heater motor

My heater fan motor wasn't working as the previous owner had been swimming. Took it apart and things were fairly corroded, although bearings span freely. Greased them up again, cleaned the commutator and resoldered the wires that had come adrift.

However, when I switch it on, it turns very slowly - not sure if this is just because of rust on the stator - suspect there is a short somewhere.

What RPM/wattage of motor could I get to replace this one without having to go original?

Thanks, but that's a complete heater for a water cooled engine - I'm only after the motor but have been offered one in the UK

don't know, but I'll bet this could be made to work:
