Hello Everyone!
I just picked up my first Pinzgauer - a 710M. I am looking forward to getting out and meeting up with others in and around Southern California. I flew into Phoenix, Arizona and drove it home on New Years Eve. Below are a couple of photographs I took on the ride home. 412 miles and 7 hrs. 47 minutes on the GPS. What a Blast!

Oh and a quick shot of my other ride a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an Adventure Trailer Chaser.

I am so jealous!! I bought my 710m back in November and so far have only been able to drive it off the trailer.

I was watching this one on Ebay over Christmas, do mind me asking how much it went for?

You payed a premium and received a PREMIUM 710. Nice job! Many people look at the low price but forget the money that it takes to get it to such a shape that you picked up. I'm jealous of everything but the white ;)

Thanks guys! Price isn't everything. For myself it had to be white. Heck like Michael(pinzwheeler) said "it's about time." You see I have been looking for years. Heck I was probably the guy that bid up David's(Texas Pinzgauer) white 712M. I am still shocked I did not win that Pinzgauer on ebay. Over the years I have talked to a lot of people and had a really good idea of what I was looking for. So when I saw the red handle on the emergency brake I new at one time Brian Mason had built this truck up. Sure enough the precision of the sprayed in bed liner thru out the truck was worth the extra cash on initial purchase. Now it is just time to baseline the fluids and get out and use it. I have only had it for 11 days and have put over a 1000 km on it and that is the light use. You see I have 27 elementary kids on my block alone. Let me tell you the doors have been tested. Can you say "mobile fort".

Nothing wrong with that price, I admire your patience. I got too excited and bought the second one I seen. Paid $12000 initially but I will be over $17000 easily before it hits the road and it still won't be up to par with yours:( Live and learn. On the bright side I am learning a lot about it and enjoy the shop time.

As someone pointed out, there's no harm in paying a premium price for a premium product and you'll typically get better results doing so. Y'all may recall the frenzy of activity when Brian Mason's former 712 came up on eBay. Everyone knew he had built it up and it was an exceptional example.

So when I had an opportunity to pull the trgger and buy it, I did. Justin paid a reasonable price for what I am sure is an excpetionally clean example.

As I've been telling people since I bought my first BMW 2002 in 1976, buy the nicest vehicle you can afford. Going cheap and buying cars that come in boxes is just not going to be any fun after awhile unless of course you want a project.

I've got a friend here locally with an International Scout (in boxes) for $1500.

Any takers out there?
