Soft Top and Zippers?

I have a 710 and am replacing the windows at my local shop.

When replacing them I expressed concern that the windows would eventually burn and scar like the old ones.

He told me the new material is much more resilient and should last longer.

One option I thought of is having zippers where I can remove the windows and store them and not worry about them burning.

Not sure if anyone else has used an alternative for their soft top windows?

Any help would be aprpreciated.

Sounds like an OK idea, if you want zippers.

Look at it this way. The original windows worked for 30 (?) years. If you replace them as stock now, you're good until 2041 or so. Don't reinvent it if you don't need to.

But if you want zippers...
