I am looking at a Growler 4x4. It has a Willys footprint. Smaller than a Pinz bigger than a ATV.

Anyone know anything about them?

I was not impressed with the M151 MUTT when I served around them in the 70’s. They beat walking however if you really wanted to get some where off road the 6x6 was more likely to get you there with out getting stuck. Remember some of the hills that a 6x6 could just about idle up and over that the MUTT’s would loose traction about half way up (newer design tires may have changed that). Don’t know what improvements Growler may have made. Of course if the price were good enough….

I am going to use this around some property we are purchasing. I don't want to go the ATV route. I have the pinz for real off road. This will be for filling feeders and a few other things. Like a little ranch truck.

And I just happen to have one for sale :D

IMO, the M151A2 were about up to where the Mites were originally, only the Mites have locking diffs, front and rear, plus inboard brakes..... Pretty cool for 1960 8)

PM Me if you might be interested.

The Growler is an attempt to resurrect the M151.... Probably because of some people's endearment for them
