I get down to Bakersfield occasionally with my 710M with a tan top but if it was last weekend it wasn't me.

I've heard rumors from people who see my Pinzi that there is one somewhere in Bakersfield but then again most folks confuse Mogs for Pinzgauers.

this thing was, or at least appeared to be, a 718k...a strange sighting to say the least. i just came from west-by-god virginia and saw a pinz running some trails out near the compressor station i was working at (majorsville) but couldnt catch up to them in my rental car, though not for lack of effort! now im out in bakersfield and see a 718 at a walmart?! again, very strange! im pretty sure there was someone in it as the windows were all fogged up...but i just couldnt bring myself to knock for fear of seeing first hand why the windows were fogged up! it had a bunch of stickers/plates etc that i tried to get pictures of but my awesome cell phone camera had reset the pic setting from small to horribly small and i cant read any of the words. im pretty sure they were in arabic or some such language.

yeah, most of the time mine is assumed to be a "jeep" or "unimog". the mog i understand, although someone in the know wouldnt make that mistake, but jeep?! what the he!l jeep looks like a 710?! that one always gets me! almost as much as "is it 4 wheel drive?"...

oh well, thanks anyway for responding! i wish i had mine out here with me; it would be fun to meet up at some trails..but alas, mine is about 1600 miles, or almost $800 in fuel, away.
