New THOR Movie Trailer

So the new trailer has quite a few more shots of the Pinzgauers. Standing up through the sunroof, when they hit Thor, etc., etc.

Looks as though a bit of the story line has the Pinzgauer in it. I figured most of it would end up on the cutting room floor, but in fact they have added more into the trailers......

Not really my type of movie, BUT it has got a Pinzgauer in it so I guess I'm going to the movies next month!

What studio tricks are these,
two people having a nice conversation while driving a Pinz?
No engine noise, no drive line whine?

In the latest Adam Sandler movie "Just Go With It" a group of people exit the rear of a Pinzgauer 712 in one scene. This is in Hawaii.

I too saw that preview (for Thor) and I thought, wow, that sure looked like a Pinz.
Looks like I've got some Milk Duds to eat pretty soon!

I took a few screenshot captures from the Yahoo Movie trailers, but can't seem to get them resized for here, properly-...
I'd be interested in better pics after the movie comes out (if anyone has access),
and/or
any info on the various gear and the work that went into getting the trucks ready for the movie, etc,
and
how well it all stood up to the use/abuse on the set.

I'm always amazed at how much these truck's "second life" after the Swiss military is so much more eventful than the first one.

Hi Guys,
Just got home from the movie. Had limited expectations as in the past our vehicles have ended up on the cutting room floor. I was pleasantly surprised as there was numerous MAJOR usage of the Pinzgauer in the film.
And while the V8 was dubbed in for the engine in one shot, later in the movie we get the true air cooled engine AND even a bit of gear train noise.
Pretty cool to see a custom pinz thru out the entire film. Movie was OK, Pinz footage was great.
