EDIT:
I am no expert but I did read that ALL data plates were to have a STAMPED Serial vs ink.
I would say the year of this truck is suspect!
Please correct me if I am wrong and I will delete

EDIT #2:
I just checked 2 data plate photos that I have and they are both stamped vs ink
You could always ask to see a photograph of the serial number on the torque tube. I believe it is on the driver side between the rear wheels. Obviously it should match the one above. Also it looks as though the above plate is screwed on with sheet metal screws. If I recall correctly mine was riveted in place. The above plate should be under the drivers seat. It looks like it is in a different place altogether.
There are 2 ID plates, one under the left side of the drivers seat and it is riveted in place and has the numbers stamped into it. The second plate is on the drivers inside door panel (as pictured) and is screwed in place. I've seen that one both stamped and printed. I'm not sure if that's significant either way on that plate.

I’ve seen that same back ground on fleabay before don’t remember what the vehicle was, do remember it had an unrealistic price and a boilerplate description like this one.

a 404 Mog that was missing fenders and such but had lovey Armor All'd Super Swampers
Could care less about the plate, however the year and VIN do not match up. My guess is it was an illegally imported truck that they changed the year of manufacture on to legally import it. If you sent the vin to Austria I would bet money that it will come back as a considerably newer truck.
