So what are the important things to know when shipping a Pinz on a trailer.
example - don't strap down axles only use body tie down points etc
Any help/advice appreciated.
Thanks,

not this war again. Seems everyone that tows has their own opinion on how this should be done. There should be a ton of this info in the old sections.

Did a search but 25 pages came up on search term "shipping" so hard to look through.
Not trying to bring up a tired topic as I have gone through 15/27 of the old pages post by post and so far and have not seen much on this topic.
I should note this is not for me towing but a Commercial carrier shipping my Pinz for me - just want some of the key basics.
Thx

commercially I would hope they capture the axles and tie down the body to stop the suspension travel. Just using the suspension to secure the truck is not only hard on the body mounts and suspension but not very secure. Several pinzies were damaged in shipping containers when they just used the suspension to secure them in place.

This Pinz was shipped properly and without any problems. Connecticut to Southern California.
Good Luck Dan!
