Very nice! I like the color - is it as close to original as it looks?
Ray does some fantastic work and I'm really pleased with the tops he's made for me.

Happy trails!

That is really sharp!

What does a tarp like that cost for a 710?

Really nice top that is for sure, the fit and finish is exceptional.
Cost depends on what you want. I used the military green material he has for the outside layer (French Military I think?) as it was the closest we could find.

That looks really nice.....beautiful quality work.
If I could have found a quality custom top manufacturer like that is Australia then the 718 might have ended up a soft top :D

The complete insulated cover costs $3,000 for the 710, any color you choose
Let me know if anyone is interested - perhaps if we order 2 or more at one time it will drop the unit cost?
I received a sample book of the material they use - seems very nice, waterproof, heavy duty and good manuf warranty (can look it up once home)

Quality work for sure, but way beyond my price range. I think if I planned on camping in my truck and traveling distances etc, I would be all over it.

I chose to go with the solid windows and not the inserts. Here in rainy Washington, I figured they would be better. If in Arizona I would have went the other way.

Well the rear bumper all finished up looks real good.

Yes it does look good. Does it sit lower than the original? From the placement of the bolts, I am guessing about two to three inches closer to the ground.

The bumper is about 2.5 inches lower, but then I had to make a seperate hitch drop down to float below it (not connected to the bumper).
Still need to make the swingout for the spare tire and remake or modify my step for climbing into the back.

The bars on the bumper extending up will someday serve as a connection point for a rear hoop and then to install a full length rack.
I used the same size tubing as was used to make the original bumper and the original plastic caps for the ends.
