Some G-wagen guys were talking about a meet-up/Treffen in the Moab region this year in Sept. or early Oct.. The weather is great around that time. I was curious how many people might be seriously interested in it? I don't think I can make the Overland May event and would prefer more off-roading fun anyway.

If you've never been, SW Utah the ultimate 4x4 mecca of all. You can do trail runs for weeks and not see the same thing. You can do ultra-tough or super easy. The town of Moab has anything you could ever need in case you prefer hotels (or your wife does!), many restaurants, grocery store, etc.

Making it a Steyr event would be a cool idea and I don't think it's been done in the US yet. I'm sure Mogs would be welcome too.

I'll be in Moab the first week of October, would love to meet up with others durring the week if in the area.

It would seem reaching out to the Rocky Mountain Pinzgauers would be in order. They have done several trips there and would be familiar with trails that are Pinz friendly. Don't want to volunteer them for anything but they do have the experience in that part of the world

I'm seriously interested. Keep me apprised as the event develops.
