... when you start to wonder why no one has asked you if your car floats.

You wonder why it won't start when you turn the key to the right.

You can't figure out how to get in because you can't find a remote fob for the Pinz.

You drive around all day at 35mph because you forgot you left it in low range the last time you had it out.

-you leave the head lights on when you park because they don't go off automatically,
-keep looking in the middle of the windshield for the rear view mirror.
-can't remember if sliding the heater and fresh air levers up or down is open or close.
-wonder which way to flip the air control lever under the dash: for feet or defrost, only to be reminded it doesn't matter.

I thought of that, too, but IIRC it happened to someone here so it might be a sore spot

You forget where the real 1st gear is...

and you can't get through the intersection when you do try to use it.

And he’ll likely give me a hard time about the brain farts that prevent me from getting my Ural into first gear after having backed in to a space when I parked it.
